How to reset a zone on Scantronic 9427 alarm system?

am sure you do the same with your premier,good for you,as I told you I used it once and it let me down,texecom said they would get back to me about the cause,took me 7 phone calls to get the answer :-)

nick,jealous ??do you realise how stupid that sounds,>?I mean how can you be jealous of an alarm panel you make no sence my friend,we go on results,nothing more,when we find a panel,pirs,mag contacts,batteries,sounders,infact any units that give no trouble,we stick with them,and I was not giving neg feedback,i was telling the truth what happened with the premier,so nick,if you don't like it,tough u and col should get on well,both are deluded :-)to each his own,tel me col,how long you been in the trade ??

COL, you may want to learn how to spell and not make yourself look like an ignorant idiot. scantronic panels are just as good as the premier if installed and programmed correctly. don't blame the equipment due to your shoddy workmanship or lack of knowledge.

every engineer has their own preference. you like the texecom range, we like the scantronic range. both systems are good.

to give texecom their due,they gave me £1000.00worth of gear since I lost two alarm systems because of the faults in the vibe detectors
we still use their vibes now because they have sorted them out,and they look nice :-)

the first and last premier I used nick lasted two days,it went into alarm and would not switch off,fortunately I was just around the corner,so ripped it out fitted a scantronic 9651 ,no probs since then,i contacted texecom who told me it was a soft ware prob,and they where sorry,nah nick I will stick with the scannies :-),by the way texecom gave me the panel to attone for the faulty vibe detectors,theyaltered them relays to solid state,and made a mess of them,they failed all over the place

throw the crap in the bin and get something decent like a texecom premier unfortunately most engineers think scantronics are not in the same category as the texecom, r8,8,8c and optima but they are due to the low price they sell for get a intelligent panel like the premier
