Hi there Clinton,

If your top drawer has no power and is hard to open then your heater plate had burnt out and will require replacing. Though on inspection the engineer will need to check the harnesses to ensure they have not burnt out or parts connected to them, but this is quite rare and usually the heater plate only requires replacing.
