Mend Suzuki Vitara 2.0 Diesel Wont Start

vitara 2 litre diesel won`t start?

glow plug light was flashing 8 - 3 and I was told immobiliser problem. Had immobiliser and connections in ECU removed. Still won`t start but glow plug lights up and stays on. Coughs once as if going to start but doesn`t . Vitara diesel Mazda engine
