Mend Veritas Help Told Disconnect

Veritas alarm new door help?

We are having new upvc door fitted at the front, I have a veritas alarm but I have been told we need to disconnect the alarm as when they remove the old door the alarm will sound. How do we do this? Also when the new door is fitted the wires to the door contacts need extending again what parts do I need?
