peugeot 206 heater blower?

my fan on the heater/blower seems to slow down then sometimes stop then it will fire up again and run fine and keep doing this on and off . is it the fan itself , is it the speed controlling heater block

Maybe the heater resistor is overheating. When did you last renew your pollen filter? It could be clogged and restricting the airflow.
