My K40 now trips the mains?

My K40 was working fine and then one night it would not turn off when full and it kept filling up until the machine tripped the power. The ice was jammed in all the way above the heating lines and now the machine just trips the main board as soon as you try and turn it on. The water pump has been replaced but has made no difference. Can anyone help?
