Mend Hoover HNV160-80 Tumble Dryer Replacement Broken

replace door handle on hoover HNV160-80 ?

how do i remove the old broken handle from my hoover HNV 160-80 tumble dryer? I've removed the fixing screws at the rear but the handle ends are still in the front door skin and i c'ant see how to remove them . do i have to separate the door skins? if so, how?
