Any ideas on how to fix if only 4 keypad options are not working?

We followed all the directions listed here but 4 keys are still working. It's stopped beeping and scrolling the message about shorted keypad ... may need service. The critical key not working is the off/clear. As well as 30sec., #5, and melt. Any ideas before I give up and have to pay the $100 deductible for Home Warranty. Not sure of the price of a new circuit board?
Any help is appreciated.
