The wash pump consists of an electric motor, pump bakplate and seal ,impeller and pump outlet Front plate...this usually comes as a one piece assembly, you may get the frontplate etc as separate pieces but latest model they plastic weld both halves of the pump housing together.With regard to removing the pump usually is 2 screws in the rear then the pump pulls down and out of the sump seal, the sump seal can be replaced separately.

isorry for confusion i meant the circulation pump. Water is running of off the white plastic attachment thatsits on top of the pump. This tehn sits inside the bowl of the dw via a black round seal. Do you know if meile selll the white part.

If you mean drain pump not wash pump if you remove the kickplate you can reach the motor and it just twists off like a light bulb, it may have a locking tab. You can reach the impeller of the pump without removing it , from inside the machine... remove the filter and you will see a cover , early models it is held in place with a wire clip, later model the cover just slides out.
