Mend Miele Dishwasher Out Pipes

How do I get my miele dishwasher to spit out a stone caught in the pipes?

I once saw a repair man press a couple of buttons and it reversed the flow, and sort of flushed out an olive stone that had somehow got past the filter into the inner pipes. I should have noted what he did but I did not! It took about 10 seconds and we had to pay the full £60 call out charge which I'd like to avoid! Any ideas?

Long term solution...stop eating olives.
Short term solution...take off the pump & remove the stone jamming the impellor. To get at the pump turn the machine on its back & remove the bottom plate via 4 screws near the adjustable feet.
