How do I replace the door lock on a Miele W 1113?

It should be just a case of open door, unplug machine for safety, remove outer retaining wire on door rubber, pull door rubber back on switch side enough to reach in and pull out the switch far enough to change it once you have removed the front 2 screws that hold it in place, although it will still be held on a clip on bracket but should release and then fit new switch and transfer the plastic release strip that goes from the switch to the filter housing(can be fiddly to this bit get back in place.) If it cant be done this way it means taking the front panel off.
