Is the TV being plugged into a surge protector? (Check)
Is there power at wall socket? (Check)
If all these pass then it is internal (POWER SURGE)
The most obvious thing to do now is to check the TV's fuse. Not all of them can be easily replaced, and in many cases it requires the opening of the back of the TV - but You may get lucky.
If all fuses are good try unpluging the tv for 4 hours or overnite(How to do a hard reset). If this doesn't work then it is other parts in your tv that are no
good or helping stop your tv from coming on.
How many times do's the power light flah.Look up flashing codes for your tv(blinking code for your model number and make)
If your tv power light comes on and nothing happens then it is internal if it flashes all the time then it's more than likely thhe power board caps.
