Mend IKEA Problem Press Switch

How to fix ikea gas hob following problem?

Standard Process:
Press a knob I want to switch gas on,press ignition,
gas is on, continue cooking.......

Problem:
Press a knob, press ignition, gas is on, however the movement I leave the knob gas goes off again.
