My Worcester BoilerHE 28 keeps firing up, switches off and no heating,EA co?

My Worcester HE 281 condensing boiler keeps firing up,red flame light comes on,then switches off and keeps doing this every minute-eventuall a code EA keeps flashing- ditto after resetting no heating or hot water-could it be the pump? help!
