I have a dimplex exbury eby 15 free standing electric fire which will not come on with remote or manual control. the red light in the screen lights up when controls are activated but the fire does not come on this fire is only 30mths old
Has a lamp blown recently? some lamps short out when they blow that is why circuit breakers trip when a room light blows. the PCB is faulty. If you fit 9watt spiral fluorescent lamps from B&Q they are slightly dimmer but after a while you will not notice
