Mend Eurotherm EP 3000 Heating Faulty

Whats wrong with my EP 3000 prgrammer?

Switched onto 24 hours HW & CH works fine but switched to Twice a day and sometimes it will switch sometimes not. I can hear something inside the it clicking as if trying to switch on. Also the overide buttons will no longer work.
Is it fixable or do I buy a new one?
