Mend Lamona Flashing Working Sound

Flashing F & L on lamona induction hob?

We gave a lamona induction hob which is not working and making an intermittent but regular whirring sound. Flashing F and L on each hob control.
Can anyone help as we can't cook on it!

Induction hobs only work with pans that have a magnetic base. If a magnet doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan, then it won't work. Induction also only heat up when there's a correct pan on the hob, simples!
