Mend Janome 6260 Working Wife Fine

Zig Zag Not Working?

My wife has a Janome 6260 and the zig zag doesn't work. Everything else seems to be working fine. Any thoughts?

depends when last machine had a service or oiled,if zig zag is set you should be able to move needle bar left and right with ease.if not try and spray connecting rod with good penetrating oil,if that does not help you will have to open and find problem either with link or selector cam not operating properly
