which fuse should be used for a bernina minimatic 707?

Hi, I have a bernina minimatic 707 and need to replace the fuse in the plug after it blew. the machine is second hand so worry that the 3 amp fuse that i found in the 13 amp labelled plug was not correct.
so should i use a 13 amp? or something different?
