my neff main oven will not reach 200 C, it has a new element lower temps o?
Neff U1421 double oven; main oven has had a new element fitted but will still not get up to 200 C, all lower temps OK as there is a thermometer in oven. When knob turned up to 200 C the highest it will go up to is 170 C. Fan is going round.
Check the element is correct wattage if genuine Neff element not used. It should be 2400 Watts. Also leave oven temp guage in for a good time before taking a reading as the oven can heat and turn off the stat light faster than the mercury or the coil in the temp guage can move.
