Replacing Neff U1562 Display film?

I have taken apart the display boxes because of broken film. Having repaired them before the film is now no good.

I need to find out the right material to replace it. It is not rocket science to make and mark and pierce a new film, especially compared with the cost of spares.

But what do I use? The material needs to be thin and flexible and stiff enough to catch the teeth, ie like film!

Any ideas?
