Mira Supreme 8.4 electric shower repair?

Norma have you still got the Mira supreme shower? i could use the spares for mine - which has just gone! i expect its too late now.

I'm planning to replace my mira supreme 8-4 shower. It seems to be working ok but I'm worried about it's safety so haven't used it properly. Only recently moved here and whole house needs updating (1970's house). 2 questions:
What should I replace it with?
Does anyone want the old shower for parts?

The Shower Doctor have a list of spares for it, but whether they are all available (www.showerdoc.co.uk).
The first problem is how to diagnose.

I think you'll have real problems getting spares for this one, Peter - I had one to do last year and got nowhere.
