Husqvarna EZ4217 won't start?

My EZ4217 won't start. Earlier in the spring i hooked an electric sprayer to the battery to spray for weeds. When i lowered the seat the metsl bottom arc against themgator clips hooked to the battery for the sprayer. Since the battery seemed to not hold a charge. Come to findmout the battery is no the problem. I have replaced the starter solenoid and same symptoms remain. The starter wont engage and wont allow the engine to start or turn over. Could this be a stsrter issue or something more? Thanks
