siemens wt2100 dryer gets hot but does not seem to blow air, filter is clea?

My dryer seems to get hot but no air is coming from the hose. Cleaned the filter but still not much air if all is coming from the hose.

Fan blade is on the end of the drum drive motor under the heater. I presume the motor is running and the drum turning? If so the blade could be loose on the shaft, if so it usually rattles on take off, if the center boss is worn you will need a new fan. to access this remove rear backpanel. If not this you must have a blockage of the internal ducting, but unlikely. Cheers

sorry, I meant that no air is coming out of the back of the machine with the hose removed. How do you check the fan? And where is it?

Check the air flow straight out of the outlet of the machine with no hose on. If ok then hose outlet problem. In an adverse hose run you can get condensation in the lowest point of the run enough to cause a blockage of air. Cheers

is the vent hose attached to an outside plastic wall vent?.If so have you removed the front and cleaned the gauze behind there?.other than that you are looking at collapsed/kinked vent hoses or fan issues
