Sukida Patriot Oil Issue?

Sorry I misread your oil amount. I didn't see the "two" before the "two thirds". I would say you have definitely overfilled if this chap is correct.

A similar sized Kawasaki KLX takes under a litre of oil, are you sure you haven't overfilled?

Thanks for the response, the bike was level and I did fill to the mark on the dipstick, no sign of blue smoke, I am struggling to find the oil capacity the Haynes manual I have doesn't give the oil capacity of the engine. cheers for the help

Hi,

Assuming you have filled the engine to the correct level (was the bike on the level and on the centre stand?), oil being forced into the air box via the breather is potentially quite a pain.
If the crankcase pressure is high it can be due to leak back from the piston via worn rings, this pressurizes the crankcase and forces the oil out of the easiest route (the breather).
Confirm correct oil level and check for oil in the cylinder. Look for blue smoke in the exhaust and if you suspect worn rings do a compression test.
