how to repair pull cord switch on shaver light? ?

Please help. The pull cord has completely come away from my bathroom shaver light (the sort that is wired into the wall)?

you need to turn off (ALL THE POWER) at the fuse board, take the cover off the light, and open the body of the light, might be screws in the the side of it, unscrew them to get at the cord, see if you can tie it back, or put a new cord on it, ... it just pulls a swtich on and off.
