garter carriage?

my garter carriage works perfectly with my brother kh891 on up to about 50 stitches. when i try to use more it just turns around on its own. help please. aline

Hi Aline,
I can't really think of a reason that your garter carriage should turn unless you've left any of the plastic cams in the needlebed.
Check that there is nothing obstructing its movement along the rail.
