rear wiper?

the rear wiper and high line brake light on my rover 25 have decided not to work any ideas how to repair them

You may find the cable has fractured where it goes from the body into the hatch. The constant opening and closing causes it to flex every time.

If so you'll need to "leapfrog" the gap with some new wire.
