My accenta alarm does not alert when the door is opened?

My house alarm went off through the night even though it wasnt set (power cut) now my outer doors no longer chime. When pressed the chime button on the keyboard works. How do I re activate the chime please? Thanks

Someone turned it off!.

That's my initial thought,but I'd also suggest fully testing the system,full,part sets etc.

When was the system last serviced ?,and maybe you should also invest in a new battery,(as a precaution),they should be changed out at 3 to 5 yrs max.

If you decide to change the battery then ALWAYS isolate mains power BEFORE you open up the control panel.

I had the alert or chime as you have put it for years up until recently.I have put the chime back on now but what could of caused the loss?.

When you press the "chime" button if no zones light up then no zones are in chime.

Find out what zone your front door is on,( usually zone one ) then chime that zone eg: press chime then press 1 then press reset.

That's if you have lost the chime and the system is functioning correctly,if not then follow gts's sound advice.
