you need to analyse what is happening it before it cuts out do you mean the water is stopping or it's going cold if water is stopping it sounds like the solenoid coil is faulty if it's going cold it could be the thermal trip on top of the tank.is there enough water pressure, does the water get too hot before it cuts out
