talbot express problem with spark plug?

my talbot express camper is popping and banging. been told spark plugs may need re setting, how do i find out the settings please. have no manual with this vehicle

Standard Set up:

Spark Plugs: NGK BP6ES
Plug Gap: 0.7mm
Torque Setting (Aluminium Head): 34-45Nm (25 – 32lbs ft)
