simpson sirrocco 500 drum belt?

Hi, I'm replacing the belt that goes around the drum but it seems too loose. how do i tension it.

With the small tension pulley and spring. The pulley presses against the belt to keep it tight. You have obviously got the belt on wrong and need to look at it again and work out how to put it so the spring pulls the pulley against the belt.
