Cd30 volume fault?

I have a vauxhall Astra with the cd30 unit as standard. A month ago my volume stopped working. I don't know what caused it but it is stuck to one volume. The centre button to turn it up and down still turns and clicks when doing so but the volume won't increase. Anyone had a similar problem and how did you fix it?
