Mend Bobbin Thread Needle Time

bringing up lower thraed?

I can't get the bobbin thread to be pulled up by the needle thread. It was fine last time I used it and it is threaded correctly, what would cause this?

difficult to say without more info but i will fitt new needle,make sure its correct needle,needle fitted properly,dirt in bobbin case area preventing cotton getting picked up,hook damaged
