I know very little about boilers but my guess is that your boiler has a Fan and an air pressure switch to sense that the fan is working properly. Before the gas is lit by the spark the fan/switch need to be satisfied. Fad fan/switch = no spark.

it never ceases to amaze me why people just change componets rather than get a test meter out and trace the fault,you have just made an expensive mistake mate,as you have found out.never mind,you now have a spare pcb for the future ,when you find the real fault
