my red henry hoover is not sucking up anything?

I have emptied the bag and there are no blockages in the tube but it still doesn't work What should I do to try and repair it?

Check that you are using the suitable bags, also check that the canvas cover that includes a plastic spider frame is rested on top of the bag the right way up and all hose fittings are disconected and checked and then re-fitted- then you should not have a problem.
