Why do you want to replace the switch?

Before you start just cut the plug and six inches of cable from the end of the power cord - fit a new plug and check to see if the on/off switch has started working again.

My guess is that you have not tested the on/off switch but that you believe it to be defective because it appears not to work. A very common fault with cleaners is a broken conductor - inside the cable near the plug - completely hidden from view. Caused by over enthusiastic tugging by the operator.

I have fixed several (perhaps 6) cleaners this way - I have never had to change an on/off switch.

Of course - you may always have a defective switch.
