The red button works but dryer keeps stopping when hot?

I keep having to re-set the red button, the dryer keeps stopping once it gets hot and telling me to clean the filter, I have to open it up and let it cool right down before it will work again. I've cleaned out all filters, emptied water and checked for any other problems. Any ideas please as it's driving me mad.
