Fuel Filter?

how do i restart my 53 ford mondeo after changing the fuel filter

If you know the fuel filter is the problem go to your local car accessory shop with all your car details buy a new filter (probably less than a tenner)look for the same shaped bit under the bonnet or near petrol tank underneath disconnect the old one and replace new one(it may have an arrow pointing the direction it fits in i.e in and out )when you remove the old one always keep it the same way up and match it to the new one,same way up.Sounds a bit condesending I know but this is where you fall down.Rich
