Mend Vauxhall Zafira 2001 Heater Works

Zafira 2001 heater switch ?

The heater switch on my vauxhall zafira 2001 2.0 diesel only works on the no.4 setting .. I have changed the whole facia unit, still no good ?

sounds like the resister unit is faulty,situated on passenger side and stuck into the plastic heating pipe,behind the fan motor.
