Mend Diplomat 8322 Door Properly Latch

How can I close door on my Diplomat 8322?

The door does not close properly? It is as if the catch is not locating. It operates on door if I push latch catch with screwdriver and catch rotates and should lock and locate on machine but it doesnt for some reason any ideas please?
