Zanussi won't start?

Thanks ck. The error code is "E51".
I downloaded the service manual from :

The suggestion is to first take the motor apart and clean the motor and connectors.

switch the machine off with the on/off button on the machines fascia panel.press and hold down the start/pause button and the skip button together and then switch it on using the on/off button on the fascia panel.wait 3 seconds and let go of all the buttons.leds should now flash in sequence.you are now in test mode.now you can press the cotton wash button (1st from the left)and each time you press it it will perform another function.when you get to the 9th possition it hopefully will give you a fault code.repost this and i will try to advise you.
