Mend Vax V-124 Carpet Not Working

vax v-124 carpet cleaner brushes not working ?

the orange brushes on my vax v-124 are not moving.when taken off the machine they have pleanty of movement in them.it seems like the drive meconism is not working.

Same problem on mine ...On internal investigation turned out to be cracked fan on the turbine assembly....Approx ,£33 from espares, not too difficult to fix yourself ... About 10 screws to release in the whole job and a couple of pipes to pry off.
