Mend Bissell 1699-1 Steam Cleaner Carpet

My Bissell steam cleaner will not spread water on carpet?

When I squeeze the handle to spread the water on the carpet nothing happens...the belts seem to be working properly. The bladder is fitted on the machine properly. It was working fine the last time I used the machine...What do you think is wrong?

how does the trigger assembly go back together on model 1699-1 Bissell steam cleaner?

Well, I have a Proheat 2x and had the same problem. I called Bissell and they told me to try priming it. Turn the cleaner on and pump the spray trigger for one minute. If that doesnt work try taking off the cover for the handel because it could be a short in the connection. Only take it off and put it back on, dont mess with the wires. If neither of those work, you could try calling Bissell for more help.
