bad suction on kenmore 721 358 21500. looks like inside of hose clogged?

remove and wash the washable screen filter, then tap the paper filter against a solid surface to remove dirt (this filter can be washed with hose but takes a day or 2 to dry) Remove the 90 degree hose fitting at the bottom of the unit by pulling gently on it, it will snap off. Look for objects inside the vacuum and in the hose, also with unit apart try turning on unit(best done outside) and put your hand over fittings to test and clear line and vacuum. You can test at several locations till you locate the obstruction.
