Mend Kenmore 721.35821500 Vacuum Suction Filter

bad suction on kenmore 721 358 21500. looks like inside of hose clogged?

we noticed that all the sudden our new vacum cleaner isn't really working like it use to. we have the grab n go pro hepa fliter something or another model. there really hasn't been any suction the past couple of times we vacumed, and i tool the hose off to see a bunch of little carpet fuzz in there. i don't know if this is what is causing the problem, but i can't get all the fuzz out of the hose. i'm assuming there is fuzz in the vacum cleaner as well. anyone with suggestions? this is not one of our favorite vacum cleaners.

remove and wash the washable screen filter, then tap the paper filter against a solid surface to remove dirt (this filter can be washed with hose but takes a day or 2 to dry) Remove the 90 degree hose fitting at the bottom of the unit by pulling gently on it, it will snap off. Look for objects inside the vacuum and in the hose, also with unit apart try turning on unit(best done outside) and put your hand over fittings to test and clear line and vacuum. You can test at several locations till you locate the obstruction.
