how i can fix my hotpoint LFT114UK dishwasher?

My dishwasher has just completed a full wash standard cycle, following day loaded it and pressed start as usual on standard cycle (2nd from left) and it did nothing, door shut as normal no problem with mechanism (taken panel off and checked it) then I thouhgt I had managed toget it to run on rinse cycle, but halfway through it has stopped and is now full of water and nothing works no error lights have come on nothing is flashing checked the filters not clogged have turned it on and off and unplugged etc.It just looks like if you shut the door it would start i.e program light lit up (2nd from left) but nothing happens no noises nothing.any ideas please most welcome.
