how do I fix my Whirlpool adp7966 dishwasher which displays error code F4? Filters are clean.

I simply unscrewed the Salt lid in the bottom of the machine and found that it was full of water, approx 5 inches deep, then used a piece of garden hose and syphoned out the water that was within... Hey presto all has been working fine with no need to remove the machine etc.

check if the pump is working and check the waste pipe for blockages and if it is connected to the sink check the connection is not blocked as well, although the error code is to do with the water draining it also has other more serious problems as well
