Mend Bosch 5312UC Dishwasher Error Draining

Bosch dishwasher runs forever, error message 2H?

We have Bosch dishwasher 5312UC, about 5 years old. In the display window, instead of saying the number of minutes left in the cycle it says 2H. And it runs on and on and on--over 2 1/2 hours yesterday before I turned it off and reset it. When I turned it back on it said 2H again. We cleaned the filters, the water is hot and it seems to be draining fine. Any ideas?

The control board is bad & has to be replaced. Bosch's fix to this problem is to run water in sink till hot then turn on dishwasher. This will keep the relay on the board from over heating.

The problem of 2H is a burnt circuit pad on your control board. Weve had our diswasher for 6 years and seen it happen on two new boards. It is a flaw in the design of the board. Contact questions@BSHG.COM to let them know. They will tell you there isnt a service bulletin, but its such a common problem with their dishwashers, it should be. Here is the response I got:
