Mend Polti Vaporella Repair Fuse Power

Vaporella steam iron wont turn on (not fuse)?

I accidentally left my iron on and it must of overheated and now it won't power up. Completely dead, have changed the fuse which made no difference, can anybody help?
Can it be repaired?
