Mend Motor Working Power

Replace/repair windshield wiper motor?

The wiper just stopped working. The fuse is good and the power gets to the motor. So it's the wire or the motor that needs replacing? Can a motor be fixed?

Would cost more to "fix" the motor than to buy a new one - certainly a used one from a breaker's yard...

Sometimes the motor mounting bolts work loose and the motor linkage jams up - tightening the bolts can sometimes be a cheap fix.
